What Is An Audiologist:

Audiologists are medical professionals educated and trained specifically to identify, access, and manage hearing disorders.

Audiologists in private practice usually provide a full range of hearing evaluations and hearing rehabilitation services.  These rehabilitation services commonly include hearing aid fitting and dispensing for both children and adults.  Audiologists must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Audiology and be certified to practice by the American Speech and Hearing Association and/or be state licensed or certified.
